Annika Sorenstam and Michelle Wie struggled Wednesday in the first round of the Evian Masters in France.

Wie, a 15-year-old amateur from Honolulu, shot a three-over-par 75 -- nine strokes off the lead -- and said she had “bad breaks everywhere.” Sorenstam, winner of two majors this year, shot an even-par 72.

Lynette Brooky of New Zealand, Marisa Baena of Colombia and Carin Koch of Sweden were tied for the lead at six-under 66.

Wie had only two birdies, with the second coming at No. 18 when she chipped to eight feet.

Earlier, Wie dropped two shots at the fourth hole when her drive sailed into the woods. She had three other bogeys.

Sorenstam drove out of bounds on the par-five 15th and took a double bogey. She bogeyed the par-five 18th when she hit her seven-wood into the water hazard in front of the green.

“Not a good day at all,” Sorenstam said. “I made zero putts. And I thought I’d finally got these Evian greens figured out.”

Receiver Terrell Owens hasn’t decided whether he will report to training camp on time because of a contract dispute with the Philadelphia Eagles, said his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

Owens fired longtime agent David Joseph in April, hired Rosenhaus and started asking for a new contract one year into a seven-year deal worth nearly $49 million. The Eagles have said they won’t redo the contract.

Javon Walker will be a no-show at training camp next week unless the Green Bay Packers agree to give the Pro Bowl receiver a big pay raise or trade him, said Rosenhaus, his agent.

The team said it doesn’t comment on contract discussions.

Neither Edgerrin James nor his agent, Rosenhaus, are saying whether the Indianapolis Colt running back will report to training camp next week.

James signed a one-year deal worth slightly more than $8 million in March, but Rosenhaus has tried since then to convince the Colts -- and other teams -- that James deserves more money.
