McKinney’s story is a source of inspiration

Re “From Prison to a Paradise for ATMs,” July 19

Thank you so much for this story on DeWayne McKinney [who was wrongly incarcerated for 18 years]. Kudos to him for looking forward and not dwelling on the misfortune that had visited him in the past. What an inspiration he is. It is rare that my workmates and I have agreeable views on Times’ articles, but we all are so impressed by McKinney’s ability to turn lemons into lemonade and his downright earthiness. I was especially impressed at his humility in acknowledging that the breakup of his marriage was probably his fault. Keep up the great work you’re doing, Mr. McKinney. Buy lots of ATMs and prosper greatly. You deserve no less.
