Anaheim Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

An Anaheim man died early Tuesday when he crashed his motorcycle into two utility poles.
Tim Tran, 23, was traveling east on 1st Street approaching Cooper Street when he lost control of his motorcycle shortly before 1 a.m. He hit two utility poles and died instantly, Santa Ana Police Lt. Chuck Deakins said.
“We have no indication of why this happened,” Deakins said. “There’s no evidence of drag racing or excessive speed.”
Police have not found evidence of drug or alcohol use either, he said.
