AIDS theater benefit to salute composers

Tyne Daly and Tonya Pinkins head the cast of the 21st annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event, a tribute to composers Marvin Hamlisch and Harry Warren that also will raise money for two AIDS organizations.

The show, called “Two on the Aisle” and featuring tributes to Warren’s “42nd Street” and Hamlisch’s “A Chorus Line,” runs next Friday to March 13 at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex on the campus of Cal State Los Angeles.

Proceeds will go to AIDS Project Los Angeles and to GLASS (Gay and Lesbian Adolescent Social Services).
