Teen Dies While Playing With Rifle With Friend

A 13-year-old boy was shot to death Thursday while playing with a rifle with another boy, also 13, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at a home shortly before 4 p.m. It apparently was an accident but detectives were investigating, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
The boy was shot in the chest and died at a hospital, Robley said. Neither boy was identified. No additional information was immediately available.
