Erickson’s Starts Have Got to Stop

Share

After sending Hideo Nomo out to collect losses for the entire first half of last season, you would think that Jim Tracy might have learned his lesson.

Yet, here we go again with Scott Erickson.

When a pitcher has a 7.26 earned-run average in the middle of May and he has not put together a respectable major league season since 1999, there is no reason to think he is going to turn things around. Every game counts, Jim Tracy. Please, pull the plug on Scott Erickson.

Dodger fans can get to the park earlier if they want to see the opponents take batting practice.
