Goldfingers has turned into Red Buddha Lounge, which must have required an exorcism for the once-greasy Hollywood nightclub. As Buddha, it’s very red and posh and open for some belly rubbing.... And speaking of new clubs, we hear Good Mood, the Wednesday night scene at Mood hosted by the Alliance’s Josh Richman and Hartwell and partner Allison Melnick, is attracting such well-heeled hotties as Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Vince Vaughn and Jesse Metcalfe.... In more Alliance news, the party crew hosted last night’s Sony PSP bash with Interpol and Louis XIV at Hollywood Center Studios and is already plotting the premiere party for “Lords of Dogtown.” Woof.... Last Thursday’s Maxim Hot 100 party brought such revelers as Cris Judd, Nicky Hilton, Kimberly Stewart, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Taye Diggs to the Montmartre Lounge.... We hear New York nightlife guru Jamie Mulholland, who owns Cain nightclub, took a walk on L.A.’s wild side last week as he plans to open an “extremely exclusive” Hollywood nightclub. Been there.... Smiths fans should head to Bang! at the Ruby on Saturday, where bassist Andy Rourke plans to spin groovy tunes for hot mods.

Lush Beauty Boutique in Beverly Hills is going clubbin’ on Sunday, as DJs Henry Eshelman and Michelle Pesce spin upbeat “hair on the floor music.” ... Seen on the scene: Drew Barrymore dined at Porta Via in Beverly Hills on Wednesday; Christina Aguilera enjoyed Cosmos at Monroe’s on Saturday; and we hear Mickey Rourke palled around with Tom Green and members of the Wayans clan last week at the Vine Street Lounge.... Dirty Dancing Alert: Naked LA’s fourth annual Las Vegas Memorial Weekend bash hits on May 28. This year, the scantily clad bimbos (and himbos) will be entertaining each other at the Aladdin’s Curve nightclub.... Latin soul lovers can head to the Little Temple in Silver Lake for Descarga, a night of Latin DJs and bands held the second Saturday of each month.... Dust off those Adidas for Fat Lace Fridays, a B-boy blowout each week at Avalon. Kurtis Blow performed the first week.... In the aw-shucks department, Scott Weiland threw his wife, Mary, a “Pretty in Pink” prom/B-day party at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City last week. Anthony Kiedis, Charlize Theron, Tony Kanal and Ione Skye were among the guests.... Yeah, Oprah’s good for business. New Santa Barbara hot spot, Sevilla, is now part of the friends of Oprah club, as her pals Naomi Campbell and Iman -- both in town for her Legends Ball -- ate five full courses. I believe it’s unprecedented in model history.

Ah, yes, the literary life

The House of Blues WeHo’s plotting a big Monday show, as Alternative Press magazine celebrates two decades of life on the edge. Among the performers paying tribute to the Cleveland publication are Transplants, My Chemical Romance, Say Anything, the Like and DJs Jason Z and Elijah Wood (yes, the actor).... And speaking of Wood, he was among the guests at the Vans Warped Tour kickoff party at the House of Blues on Thursday. Among the celebrators were members of the Offspring, Transplants, Blink-182, Flogging Molly and the Vandals. Tour founder Kevin Lyman says, “We offer a great alternative to a Britney Spears show.” Funny thing is, she’ll probably be on it next year.
