From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Washington Wizard forward Antawn Jamison had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, and the team said that he was expected to make a full recovery before training camp.

Jamison battled tendinitis in the knee for most of the second half of the season. He had played in 386 consecutive games -- at the time, the NBA’s longest active streak -- before sitting out a game March 8 because of the knee. Jamison then sat out 11 of the Wizards’ next 13 games.

He aggravated the injury during Washington’s second-round playoff series loss to the Miami Heat but didn’t miss a game.
