Goldwire Is Released

The Clippers waived journeyman point guard Anthony Goldwire on Wednesday.
Goldwire, 34, averaged 0.7 points in three games. He also played in parts of seven seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, Washington Wizards, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Jersey Nets, Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks.
