Irvine-based Quality Systems Inc., embroiled in a proxy fight with a dissident director, said that shareholders at the annual meeting elected two directors from the dissidents’ slate and six from management’s slate.
Ahmed Hussein and Ibrahim Fawzi will represent dissidents on the board. Hussein, a director since 1999 and the second-largest shareholder of the healthcare information-systems firm, has led a campaign against current management over executive compensation and other issues.
