This year marks the 90th anniversary of jazz legend Billie Holiday’s birth. Today, more than 45 years after her death, her influence is still vibrating through the jazz world. “Billie & Me,” a tribute to Holiday, comes to town this week for performances at Bovard Auditorium and Royce Hall. The show features an all-star lineup that includes three-time Grammy winner Dianne Reeves, Fontella Bass, Rokia Traore, Lalah Hathaway, Nancy Wilson and Terri Lyne Carrington.

Also this week, five-time Grammy-nominated jazz singer Nnenna Freelon is at the Jazz Bakery. Her latest album, “Blueprint of a Lady -- Sketches of Billie Holiday,” came out in August.
