Bruins Seem to Need a Better Travel Agent

The longtime rap on UCLA fans is that they “don’t travel well.” The Bruin faithful have done little to dispel that perception this year when they can’t even make it to Pasadena to watch an exciting and undefeated team that has a chance to go all the way.

The Bruins have a record-setting quarterback, an electrifying running back who manages to do a Reggie Bush impersonation just about every game and a coach who looks like he finally has things all together. Despite all this, there were some 40,000 vacant seats in the Rose Bowl last Saturday.

One observer in a city where the Bruins played last year noted that the UCLA fans all showed up with one set of underwear and a $50 bill and left town three days later without changing either one.
