Motorcyclist Is Killed in Freeway Hit-and-Run
A motorcyclist was fatally injured early Wednesday by a hit-and-run driver on the 91 Freeway, authorities said.
David Ghiloni, 36, of Moreno Valley died after being struck by a vehicle about midnight while stopped on the freeway’s right shoulder east of Riverdale Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
The vehicle was described as a dark gray Ford SUV or truck with a broken left-side mirror and missing left-side lower-door trim. Anyone with information is asked to call the CHP at (714) 567-6000.
