College basketball -- A Final Four chart on the Most Outstanding Player Award in Tuesday’s Sports section said Joakim Noah had a cumulative 16 points, 6 blocks. That was only the title game. He had a cumulative 28 points, 10 blocks. The same is true of 2005 winner Sean May, who it said had 26 points, 10 rebounds. May had a cumulative 48 points, 17 rebounds.

* Noah also chipped in seven assists and five blocked shots as the Gators won, 76-50.

SECOND ROUND VS. WISC. MILWAUKEE

17 points, 7 rebounds

* After also contributing six assists and four blocks in the 82-60 victory, Noah said, “I’ll always remember these two games, but right now we have to move on. We can do something even more special.... People might think that’s greedy, but we want more.”

ROUND OF 16 VS. GEORGETOWN

15 points, 10 rebounds

* Noah also contributed five blocks in the 57-53 victory over the seventh-

seeded Hoyas in what turned out to be Florida’s toughest game of the tournament.

* Noah also had five blocks in the 75-62 win and was selected most outstanding player of the regional. “When you’re young and you don’t play in these situations, you just don’t know,” Noah said. “I think the more we play in these situations, the better we’re going to become.”

FINAL FOUR VS. GEORGE MASON

12 points, 8 rebounds

* Noah threw in four blocks, but he didn’t have to step up in this game as the Gators dominated from the start and won, 73-58.

CHAMPIONSHIP VS. UCLA

16 points, 9 rebounds

* Noah had six more blocks in the 73-57 victory, ending the tournament with 29 blocks, breaking the previous tournament record of 24 set by Arizona’s Loren Woods in 2001.
