Wetlands victory
Re “After a Century, Wetlands Will Reunite With the Sea,” July 31
As one of the members of the California Coastal Commission when it rejected permits to build in the Bolsa Chica wetlands in Huntington Beach, it is exciting to see that the battle to save the wetlands has been won. We owe a debt of gratitude to all the citizens who have for so many years continued to protect that valuable resource.
