Dear Dodgers: I apologize. May I please have my fork back now?

With all the new faces, the Dodgers should consider returning players’ names to their uniforms. Can’t tell Tomko from Repko, Lugo from Loney, or Betemit from Brazoban. Does the batboy have a mustache?

Since the swap of Milton Bradley for Andre Ethier, Ned Colletti has made a series of shortsighted moves that won’t be enough to keep the Dodgers from being on the outside looking in this postseason, while weakening their roster next season.

If the potential free agents Colletti has traded for this season walk at the end of the year, then come spring he will have traded Cesar Izturis, Duaner Sanchez, Joel Guzman, Dioner Navarro, Willy Aybar, Edwin Jackson, and prospects Sergio Pedroza, Justin Ruggiano and Chuck Tiffany for ... Wilson Betemit and a poorly miscalculated run at the postseason.

Colletti thinks that Betemit is one of the top young players in the game. Let’s hope for your sake, Ned, that you’re right.
