THE Orange County Performing Arts Center takes great pride in the achievements of the Pacific Symphony, Opera Pacific, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Pacific Chorale [“Letters,” Dec. 10].

The Pacific Symphony performed with the Kirov Orchestra and created an American Russian Festival with Opera Pacific and the center to further enhance the experience for our audiences.

We will launch new initiatives, establish innovative collaborations and seek additional resources to ensure that our community has access to the finest in the performing arts and that artists are able to realize their full creative potential.

I was pleased to see the story on the new Segerstrom hall. There were many snags since the opening, but I’ve decided to stop whining. Continue to hold management’s feet to the fire on seating (uncomfortable and empty), cost (high), programming (elitist) and acoustics (weird and are they working?).
