Rookies were on top of the leaderboard, but not the one who has the highest profile on the LPGA Tour.

With the hometown crowd focused on Michelle Wie, rookie Seon Hwa Lee shot a six-under-par 66 Friday to take a two-stroke lead over Natalie Gulbis after the second round of the Fields Open at Kapolei, Hawaii.

Lee, 20, trying to win her first LPGA Tour title in her third career start, had a 13-under 131 total.

First-round leader Lorena Ochoa scrambled to a 71 for a nine-under 135 total.

Duffy Waldorf shot his second consecutive six-under 66 to take a one-stroke lead over Mark Wilson in the Chrysler Classic at Tucson.

It was the first 36-hole lead since the 2002 British Open for Waldorf, who credited his recent work on his iron play for his strong performance.

He started his day on the 10th tee and quickly went to seven under with a birdie after missing a 12-foot eagle try. He bogeyed No. 11, his first bogey of the tournament, but reached 10 under with birdies on 12, 13, 15 and 16. After the turn, he made two birdies before three-putting on the par-three seventh to drop back to 12 under at Tucson National.
