School Principal Slain in Front of His Family

Militants believed linked to the Taliban broke into the home of an Afghan principal and beheaded him while forcing his wife and eight children to watch, a government official said.
Four men stabbed Malim Abdul Habib, 45, eight times and then decapitated him in the courtyard of his home in Qalat.
Habib was the principal at Sheik Mathi Baba high school.
