NEW YORK

It’s show time in the Big Apple

TAKE in a Broadway show or three on a theater tour of Manhattan that begins April 24.

The eight-night trip includes three new Broadway shows.

Actor and tour leader Stan Mazin said it was too early to tell what shows would be available during the tour, but if Chita Rivera’s show “The Dancer’s Life” was still playing, it would be on the itinerary. Mazin worked on the show “Bajour” in which Rivera starred in 1964.

“Jay Johnson is doing a show [‘The Two and Only’] at the Helen Hayes Theater, and it’s fabulous. We’ll see that,” he said.

The group will have lunch at the venerable Tavern on the Green restaurant; participants also will have time to do some shopping and sightseeing on their own in the city.
