“Forbidden Broadway: Special Victims Unit” is heading west for a 10-week San Diego stay.

The new edition of the long-running revue will set up shop at the Theatre in Old Town, March 31 through June 4, while its Manhattan home, the 47th Street Theatre, is occupied by the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, which plays the theater each spring.

“Forbidden Broadway” takes special delight in skewering the theater’s biggest hits and flops. Created by Gerard Alessandrini, it will return to New York June 9.
