Oliver’s twist

As we bid adieu to veteran Times sportswriter Shav Glick, let’s not forget a wonderful writer who retired on the same day, Myrna Oliver. The longtime obituary writer provided fascinating insights into the dearly departed: celebrities, scientists, authors and doctors who impacted our world, for better or worse. Oliver’s style was warm, complete and compelling. We all knew them better after a send-off from Myrna.
