4 Die When Train Hits Their Car in Castle Rock
From Times Wire Reports
An Amtrak train passing through Castle Rock collided with a sedan, killing the four people in the car, a railroad official said.
No one aboard the train was injured, said Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway spokesman Gus Melonas. The 14-car train, en route from Seattle to Portland, Ore., was carrying 123 passengers.
The rail crossing was marked by stop signs, Melonas said.
