Man Sought in Lewd Acts on 2 Girls
Long Beach police were searching for a man believed to have performed lewd acts on two young girls in separate incidents early Sunday.
About 8:30 a.m. in the area of Orange Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway, a 7-year-old girl was approached by a man who kissed her on the mouth and offered her $10 to kiss her buttocks, police said. The child screamed and ran.
An hour later, in the area of Anaheim Street and Daisy Avenue, a man allegedly lifted an 11-year-old girl’s skirt, grabbed her buttocks and made a lewd comment. The girl ran home.
In both cases, the suspect was described as a clean-shaven Latino male with black hair in his late 20s, 5 feet 10 and weighing 170 pounds.
