1 Boy Killed, 1 Wounded in Schoolyard Shooting
An adolescent boy was shot to death and another wounded late Wednesday at a San Bernardino middle school, police said.
Police responding to a report of a shooting about 8:30 p.m. found the two unidentified boys sprawled on the playground of Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School at Baseline Street and Medical Center Drive, said San Bernardino Police Lt. Scott Paterson.
“They found two young juveniles about in their early teens with apparent gunshot wounds,” Paterson said. “One had non-life threatening wounds. The other one eventually died from his wounds.”
