ART LINKLETTER and Bill Cosby both scored with their respective editions of “Kids Say the Darndest Things.” Given statements that were broadcast Tuesday night by Angelina Jolie, producers might consider reviving the franchise and renaming it “That Kid Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt’s Mom Says the Darndest Things.”

Before Shiloh, Jolie’s newborn daughter with Brad Pitt, could even get through her first month’s supply of Pampers, Jolie spoke with CNN’s Anderson Cooper as part of a special program devoted to World Refugee Day. She talked about her relief work and the couple’s plans to adopt another child to add to their fast-growing family, which includes two adopted children -- Maddox and Zahara -- from foreign countries.

Said Jolie: “Next, we’ll adopt. We don’t know which country. It’s gonna be the balance of what would be the best for Mad and for Z right now. It’s, you know, another boy, another girl, which country, which race would fit best with the kids.”

Jolie was not pressed on her views of what race exactly would not “fit best” with the kids and why. Apparently, the push toward a potential “Cheaper by the International Dozen” was enough to satisfy Cooper.

Jolie’s odd statement was just the latest of comments from the actress that have caused entertainment reporters to jump with glee or roll their eyes. Here’s a look at some of her past memorable remarks:

2005: Jolie, in a March interview with Marie Claire magazine, dismissed speculation about an on-set fling with her “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” costar Pitt, who was then married to Jennifer Aniston: “To be intimate with a married man, when my own father [actor Jon Voight] cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive. I could not, could not, look at myself in the morning if I did that.”

2001: While doing publicity for “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” Jolie talked to “Access Hollywood” about her then-husband Billy Bob Thornton: “I feel like we found each other across the world. And we’re mates that are gonna go through life doing things together, and laughing together, and learning together.” They divorced the next year.

2001: In an interview with E! Online, Jolie explained the amulets she and Thornton wore: “So many times, I have just wanted to drink every part of him. So, we had written things in blood on the walls over our bed, and at Christmastime, I had bought these amulets.... We just cut our fingers and gave some to each other.”

2000: Jolie, after deep-kissing her brother at the Oscar ceremony, reportedly declared, “I am so in love with my brother right now.”
