Measure’s opposition has an agenda too

Re “Law Aimed at Migrants Faces Hurdle,” June 27
I should like to remind Armando Navarro of the National Alliance for Human Rights that the racism of which he accuses Joseph Turner comes in many shades and colors.
Does he really expect me to believe that the alliance would so fervently oppose this ballot measure if the constituency it applied to was not almost exclusively Latino?
The agenda of Navarro and such groups as the alliance is all too clear.
