Supervisors OK Funds to Revamp County Morgue

Plans to renovate the county morgue and hire 14 more staff members were approved by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
The San Bernardino County coroner’s office is outdated and overcrowded, said Roger Jaska, chairman of the Sheriff’s Coroner Advisory Committee, who presented the committee’s recommendations to the board at the meeting Tuesday.
Supervisors approved nearly $2 million in county funds for the project.
