Lucas Glover might wish the PGA Tour came to Orlando, Fla., more often.

Five months after a stunning victory down the road at Disney, Glover surged into the lead Friday at the Bay Hill Invitational with birdies on two of his last three holes for his second consecutive five-under-par 67 and a one-shot lead over Robert Allenby and Rod Pampling.

More than a dozen players are within five shots of Glover’s lead at 10-under 134 going into the weekend. Tiger Woods, a four-time winner at Bay Hill, isn’t among them. He shot a 71, leaving him seven shots behind.

Pampling turned in the best round of the tournament, a seven-under 65.

Dean Wilson was also at 10 under until two bogeys on his final three holes gave him a 70, two shots out of the lead. Sergio Garcia had a 69 and was at seven under, along with Bart Bryant (71).

With shadows falling on the Superstition Mountain (Ariz.) Golf and Country Club, Sarah Lee eagled the par-five 18th hole to take a one-stroke lead over Aree Song after two rounds of the Safeway International.

Paula Creamer and Suzann Pettersen were tied for third, two strokes back of Lee, who has never won an LPGA event but is at 12-under 132.

Defending champion Annika Sorenstam birdied three of the last four holes to make the cut for the 65th straight event. But she trails by eight shots after shooting a 71.
