Man Sought in Fatal Shooting of Girlfriend
A man allegedly shot his girlfriend to death and wounded another woman late Friday night, then carjacked a nearby vehicle, kidnapping the driver, authorities said.
Eric Simmons, 35, is suspected of shooting the women in a converted garage in the 600 block of Harding Avenue about 11 p.m., said Sheriff’s Deputy Oscar Butao. The victims’ names were not released.
Simmons then allegedly carjacked a green 1995 Toyota Tercel, whose driver escaped unharmed, Butao said.
Simmons is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call (323) 890-5500.
