County Supervisor, Wife Hurt in Traffic Accident
Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone and his wife were injured Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle they were riding crashed on the 91 Freeway near Corona, a county spokesman said.
Stone, who represents the southwest portion of the county, apparently broke his collarbone and foot after stopping in abruptly slowing traffic about 12:30 p.m., said spokesman Ray Smith.
Stone, who was en route to his son’s swim meet in Long Beach, was taken to Riverside Community Hospital. His wife, Regina, was treated for minor injuries at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
