Man Held in Shooting at Baptismal Party
Inglewood police arrested a suspect in the shooting death of one man and the serious injury of another after gunfire erupted at a baptismal party early Sunday morning.
A 51-year-old man died after arriving at UCLA Medical Center, and a second was in critical condition after the shooting, which happened at the Lugar Latino Dance Hall on West 104th Street just after midnight, according to a statement by Inglewood police. The victims were not identified by police.
Security guards detained the suspected shooter in the dance hall parking lot until Inglewood police arrived.
