Supervisor, Wife Are Released From Hospital
Supervisor Jeff Stone and his wife, Regina, were released from Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley on Tuesday afternoon, where they had been treated for injuries sustained in a weekend motorcycle accident, a spokesman said.
Stone, 50, broke a foot and collarbone and cracked two ribs Saturday when his motorcycle crashed on the Riverside Freeway near Corona in abruptly slowing traffic, officials said.
Stone’s wife, a passenger on the bike, has blurred vision from a concussion, said Stone’s chief of staff, Verne Lauritzen. Both were wearing helmets, Lauritzen said.
