Enron prosecutor joins Latham & Watkins

Sean Berkowitz, the head of the federal task force that successfully prosecuted former Enron Corp. executives Kenneth L. Lay and Jeffrey K. Skilling, has joined the Chicago office of Los Angeles-based law firm Latham & Watkins.
Berkowitz, 39, became a partner in the firm’s litigation department. He is the third director of the Justice Department’s Enron Task Force to go into private practice.
