Goaltender Marty Turco stopped 13 shots in his first shutout of the season and made Brenden Morrow’s power-play goal stand up, giving the Dallas Stars a 1-0 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday night at Glendale, Ariz.

Curtis Joseph made 34 saves for Phoenix to hold up his end of the goalie showdown, but Morrow’s second-period goal was the difference.

Morrow took a pass from Sergei Zubov to the right of the crease and flipped the puck over Joseph’s glove.
