Blues end losing streak

Martin Rucinsky scored twice as the Blues ended a three-game losing skid by beating the Edmonton Oilers, 5-3, Sunday afternoon at St. Louis.

Bryce Salvador, Rucinsky and Jay McClement also scored for St. Louis, which won for the second time in its last eight games.

Backup goalie Curtis Sanford made 31 saves for the Blues.

Chicago 1, Columbus 0 -- Brian Boucher stopped 28 shots for his first shutout and victory at Chicago with the Blackhawks.

Defenseman Lasse Kukkonen scored in the second period to help the Blackhawks win their second straight following an eight-game (0-7-1) losing streak.
