Council denies bid to block condo development

The City Council’s planning committee on Tuesday denied an appeal made by homeowners groups trying to stop a proposed 483-condominium development in Century City.
The project would consist of two 47-story, 570-foot towers and a 12-story loft building with 1,208 parking spaces below.
