Teenager on School Bus Is Injured in Attack
A 16-year-old boy was cut in an attack Wednesday on a bus crowded with students heading back to school after summer break, police said.
Another student believed to be 16 to 18 was sought in the attack, Officer Jason Wong said.
A city bus “jammed full of kids, mostly on their way to the first day of school,” was a few blocks from Cabrillo High School when an argument broke out shortly before 8 a.m., Wong said.
The unidentified victim is a student at Wilson High School. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a facial cut, Wong said.
The attacker fled, but officers believe they know his identity.
