Dennys Reyes (5-0) pitched the eighth and Joe Nathan got the last three outs for his 32nd save in 34 chances as the Twins scored their 44th come-from-behind victory.
at Seattle 4, Toronto 2: Adrian Beltre and Raul Ibanez hit solo homers, and Mariners starter Gil Meche won for the first time in nearly two months. Vernon Wells hit his 32nd homer in the fourth, a two-run shot that accounted for Toronto’s runs.
at Detroit 3, Texas 2: Carlos Guillen hit two solo homers, including the game-winner leading off the ninth inning, to lift the Tigers to victory.
Kansas City 5, at Cleveland 3: Joe Nelson pitched the ninth for his seventh save as the Royals got their 23rd road victory, surpassing last season’s total.
Boston 6, at Baltimore 5: Coco Crisp drove in three runs, Kevin Youkilis had two RBIs in the pivotal sixth inning, and the Red Sox ended a six-game road losing streak.
