Rebecca Isaacs was chosen Friday as executive director of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, a joint city and county unit.

Isaacs, an attorney, is executive director of the Inner City Law Center, which advocates for low-income and homeless people throughout Los Angeles County.
