CBS and PBS each took five awards at the annual news and documentary Emmys, in which PBS’ Bill Moyers was presented with a lifetime achievement award. Cinemax’s “Born Into Brothels” was named best documentary.

The History Channel won four Emmys, while ABC and the National Geographic Channel each won three.

The venerable newsmagazine “60 Minutes” accounted for four of CBS’ five trophies.

The prizes were awarded in New York Monday night by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at the 27th annual ceremony. The event will be telecast on C-SPAN Saturday.
