Man loses control of car, dies in crash

A 23-year-old man was killed early Sunday on Glassell Street when he lost control of his car and hit a utility pole, police said.
The accident occurred about 3:50 a.m. near Fletcher Avenue. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police are withholding his identity until his relatives are notified.
