Cincinnati 7, at Milwaukee 6: Pinch-hitter Javier Valentin’s bases-loaded, two-run double in the eighth inning gave the Reds the victory.

New York 8, at Washington 2: Carlos Beltran homered twice and drove in four runs and the Mets completed a three-game sweep. Shawn Green’s two-run single in the eighth sparked a four-run rally.

San Francisco 6, at Florida 5: Guillermo Rodriguez, Ryan Klesko and Rajai Davis all scored after a trio of Florida errors in the seventh inning.
