Almost comical

RE “Holy Plastic Slab!” by Geoff Boucher, Aug. 21: Why, oh why, does every comic book article in The Times -- and in many other publications -- have to have a “Holy [fill in the blank]” headline?

That show [“Batman”] was 40 years ago, and it forever painted comic book readers as irredeemable geeks. Please let it die.
