Premiere date: CBS has set Oct. 15 as Drew Carey’s coming-out date as the host of “The Price Is Right,” replacing Bob Barker, who retired in June after 35 years on the game show.

Casting: Aidan Quinn has been signed to a recurring role on “Canterbury’s Law,” a midseason series for Fox that stars Julianna Margulies as a defense attorney. They play a couple trying to cope with the disappearance of their son.
