From Times Wire Reports

A passenger tried to open a plane door during a Frontier Airlines flight out of Denver but was subdued by airline staff and passengers, according to the airline.

Police and Transport Security Administration staff met Flight 514 after the plane with 133 on board landed in New York and took the man into custody, said Frontier spokesman Joe Hodas.

A passenger said that a flight attendant who realized a man was opening the door had yelled for help. The man was restrained with tape and an extra lap belt, the passenger said, and for the rest of the flight, he yelled and tried to bite through the tape.
