Chapman seeks funding for new science center
From Times Staff Reports
Chapman University is starting a campaign to raise $80 million for a new science center, university officials announced Tuesday.
The center will replace Hashinger Science Center, a cinder-block building built in the 1960s, spokeswoman Mary Platt said.
The project is part of a major effort to modernize the private liberal arts school established in 1861, she said.
