Police released surveillance video images Monday in the hope of nabbing a robber who has struck 22 times since Nov. 13. The robber held up 11 gas stations, convenience stores and other businesses in Inglewood, Gardena, El Segundo, Hawthorne and Culver City.

The robber, who usually wears a black sleeveless hooded sweat shirt, a black knit cap, gray shirt and dark pants, approaches a cash register clerk, brandishes a semiautomatic handgun and steals the store’s money, said Inglewood police Lt. Mike McBride.

The suspect is a clean-shaven black male between 28 and 32 years old, about 5 feet 10 and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds.
