at Utah 110, Miami 101: Mehmet Okur scored 25 points, including four three-point baskets, and the Jazz won its eighth in a row at home by going on a 9-2 run after the Heat closed to within two with 3:44 left.
Dallas 103, at Chicago 98: Josh Howard had 27 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and the Mavericks hung on after having their 16-point fourth-quarter lead reduced to three with 11.6 seconds left. Dirk Nowitzki added 25 points.
at Toronto 98, Charlotte 79: Despite playing without Chris Bosh (groin), Andrea Bargnani (knee) and T.J. Ford (thumb), the Raptors won their fourth in a row at home while handing the Bobcats their sixth straight loss after a 6-4 start.
Portland 106, at Memphis 105: Travis Outlaw scored 21 points, including the winning six-foot runner at the buzzer, to give the Trail Blazers their first road victory. Rudy Gay had given Memphis the lead on a tip-in with 2.8 seconds left.
Atlanta 88, at Philadelphia 79: Josh Smith scored 22 points to help the Hawks end a seven-game losing streak at Philadelphia. The 76ers made two of 11 three-point attempts, making them five for 37 in the last three games.
Orlando 123, at Golden State 117: Jameer Nelson had 22 points, eight rebounds and 11 assists to help the Magic end the Warriors’ six-game winning streak while improving to 16-4 under first-year Coach Stan Van Gundy.
