Man in tuxedo steals two Rolexes

The sneaker- and tuxedo-clad thief was all dressed up with somewhere to go. Fast.

Los Angeles police said a clean-cut man walked into a Koreatown watch store Saturday afternoon under the pretense of shopping for an engagement ring.

While browsing, the thief asked a clerk to show him a set of his and hers Rolex watches worth more than $60,000, authorities said.

Video footage released Wednesday showed the man, who was wearing eyeglasses, trying on one of the watches as the clerk handed him the other.

The man then bolted from the store.

Police described him as black, about 25 years old, 5-feet-7 and 130 pounds, with a shaved head.

Although customers were in the store at the time of the incident, no one was hurt, said LAPD spokeswoman April Harding.
